1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Toolaki website at https://toolaki.com ("Toolaki", "the site", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
2. What Toolaki is
Toolaki is a free collection of small, single-purpose online utility tools (for example, an image format converter). The tools run entirely inside your own web browser. Your files are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to or stored by us. The site is free to use and requires no account.
3. Acceptable use
You may use Toolaki for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:
- use the site in a way that breaks any applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems that host it;
- misuse the site by knowingly introducing malicious code, or by otherwise interfering with how it works for others.
4. The tools are provided "as is"
Toolaki is provided free of charge, on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties or guarantees of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. In particular, we do not guarantee that:
- the tools will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free;
- the results of any tool (for example, a converted or processed file) will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
Because everything runs on your own device, you are responsible for your own files. Always keep your own backup of any file before using a tool, and check the output before relying on it. We never receive your files, so we cannot recover, restore, or reproduce them.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) Toolaki, including, for example, loss of data, corrupted or unexpected output, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded: for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
6. Intellectual property
The Toolaki name, website, design, and the code behind the tools belong to us and are protected by law. You may use the tools for their intended purpose, but you may not copy, redistribute, or resell the site or its code without our permission.
You keep all rights to your own files and content. Since your files never leave your device, we make no claim to them whatsoever.
7. Links to other sites
Toolaki may occasionally link to third-party websites for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own risk.
8. Changes to the site and these Terms
We may add, change, or remove tools and features at any time, and we may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
